Welcome to the BlinkSwag Design Hackathon — where creativity meets clickable.
This one’s for high school designers ready to flex their skills! Your mission? Design interactive web elements (like buttons, modals, menus, or animations) that could live on BlinkSwag.com, our swag-tastic hub for branded merch.
We’re looking for fresh ideas that are not just functional but also FUN — think slick, scroll-stopping, and super usable. Your designs should help elevate the user experience while keeping BlinkSwag’s playful, bold vibe front and center.
Whether it's a gamified product picker, a funky hover animation, or a surprise "Swag Drop" element — we want to see how you’d make the BlinkSwag site pop.
💡 Get Started-
Explore BlinkSwag.com — take notes on the branding, color palette, tone, and flow.
-
Pick a web element you’d like to redesign or create from scratch.
-
Design it using your favorite tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Canva — whatever makes you groove).
-
Add interactivity — show how it works, what it does, and why it's cool.
-
Submit your mockups or prototypes with a short explanation of the UX idea and your design decisions.
Bonus points for originality, usability, and how well it fits the BlinkSwag brand personality.
Requirements
Here’s what you’ll need to bring your swag-iest design idea to life:
🛠️ What to Build:
-
One interactive web element designed for BlinkSwag.com
Think: an animated button, floating cart icon, scroll-triggered section, custom hover effect, product sorter — anything small but impactful that improves user experience. -
Your design should reflect BlinkSwag’s bold and fun tone — think vibrant, smooth, and just the right amount of funky.
-
You don’t need to code it (unless you want to flex). A prototype/mockup is totally fine!
📁 What to Submit on Devpost:
-
A working mockup or prototype
→ Use tools like Figma, XD, Canva, or even hand-drawn sketches (if they're clear). -
Screenshots and/or a short demo video (60–90 seconds works great)
→ Show off the interaction and what problem it solves or experience it enhances. -
Brief write-up (3–5 sentences)
→ Tell us what your element does, why you designed it this way, and how it fits BlinkSwag’s vibe. -
Include a link to your design (Figma link, Google Drive, etc.)
→ Make sure sharing permissions are set to “Anyone with the link can view.”
